Dr. Dico received her dental degree from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Cluj-Napoca in Romania. She has earned recognition as an Invisalign certified provider, demonstrating her commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental care.

In 2016, Lubna embarked on her dental journey, obtaining her dental degree from Ayman University in the UAE. Her commitment to excellence led her to pursue additional training and certifications, including being Kois Trained, ensuring that she stays updated on the latest advancements in dentistry.

Known for her friendly demeanor, efficiency, and enthusiastic approach, Lubna believes in a patient-centered treatment philosophy. She is driven by the desire to provide evidence-based dental care, recognizing the profound impact that oral health can have on overall well-being. Lubna finds true fulfillment in helping her patients achieve optimum oral health and witnessing the positive effects it has on their lives.

Dr. Mathieu Laforge Savoie completed his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at the University of Ottawa and went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at McGill University in 2016. Dr. Mat then completed a one-year residency at the prestigious Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, New York, which allowed him to gain skills and expertise in dental surgery, the treatment of medically complex patients, and managing dental emergencies.

Dr. Mat continued his dental career in Saskatoon where his wife Katherine completed medical training as a Pediatrician. During this time, Dr. Mat pursued his passions for dentistry and continuing education by attending courses at the renowned KOIS institute. As a Kois graduate, it is through this network of clinicians that Dr. Mat was referred to his now friend and colleague at Little Italy Dentistry, Dr. Yiu (Owner). Dr. Mat’s vision and treatment philosophy along with Little Italy Dentistry’s dedication to patient care, treatment modalities, and approach to whole mouth wellness were a perfect fit.

Dr. Mat’s extensive surgical and implant training, as well as a focus on understanding the link between oral health and general well-being will provide you with a comprehensive treatment strategy tailored to your needs.

In his spare time, Dr. Mat likes to play hockey, golf, cooking, and travel. Most important of all, Dr. Mat enjoys spending time with his wife, Pippa (dog), and the newest member to their family, Remy, their daughter.

Lisandra is a friendly and outgoing dental assistant at Little Italy. With a career in dentistry that began in 2022, Lisandra brings efficiency and humor to her role, making her an integral part of the team.

On a day-to-day basis, Lisandra ensures that the treatment rooms are prepared and ready for patients. She takes pride in maintaining a clean and sterile environment for optimal patient care.

What Lisandra enjoys most about her job is the opportunity to meet new patients. She believes in building strong connections with each individual, making them feel comfortable and at ease during their dental visits.

Outside of work, Lisandra keeps herself busy with various interests. She is an avid reader and enjoys immersing herself in different genres of literature. In addition, Lisandra has a passion for Anime and finds joy in dancing. And of course, like any food enthusiast, she loves exploring different cuisines and savoring delightful meals.

She graduated in 2010 from Nova Scotia Community College Level II Dental Assisting Program. In 2013, she transitioned from the clinical role to dental administration roles. Her positions through the years have varied from treatment coordinator to practice manager.

Andrea strives to be cheerful and empathetic, helping patients through their smile journeys. Outside the office, Andrea is committed to her charitable work in the community. She also enjoys being physically active, spending time outdoors and playing guitar.

As the Office Manager, Dana leads the team with her understanding and enthusiastic approach. She believes in creating a unique and positive culture within the clinic, where everyone’s contribution is valued. Managing the team at Little Italy Dentistry has been one of the highlights of Dana’s career, and she is proud of the achievements they have made together.

What Dana enjoys most about her job is connecting with the patients and serving them. She finds great satisfaction in helping others and strives to provide the best dental care experience possible.

Outside of work, Dana maintains a healthy and active lifestyle. She is committed to going to the gym regularly and taking care of her physical well-being. She also loves spending time outdoors, hiking, and riding motorcycles with her husband. Exploring new destinations through travel is another passion of Dana’s.
